Psychiatry

The Psychiatry Department has built a history of clinical care, education and training for more than a century. Physicians serve the complete continuum of psychological conditions, including anxiety and depression, catering treatments to the severity of each patient’s illness. Faculty provides personalized care in a wide variety of specialized outpatient programs and clinics. Department research has launched significant initiatives, including through the Weill Cornell Institute of Geriatric Psychiatry, which aims to reduce the burden of late- and mid-life mood disorders. Students can take advantage of a variety of education and training programs, from a child and adolescent fellowship to a general psychiatry residency.
