Neurology

The Neurology Department provides care for neurological diseases and disorders. Patients start with a diagnosis through neuropsychological testing and sleep studies, and meet with expert neurologists, who offer customized plans. The department participates in basic science and clinical research, with trials on conditions including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and stroke. Educational programs include a brain and mind course, a neurology clerkship and a platform built to educate the public about Alzheimer’s disease. Some of the most notable figures in academic neurology have shaped the department through the years. Today it is consistently ranked among the nation's best providers of neurology care.
